Mummy Meets His Match
When I first heard the (bizarrely true) story of Dorian Corey, the New York drag queen who killed a man, mummified his body and stashed it in her closet for decades, I thought “Now that’s a children’s book waiting to happen.”
I imagined a bunch of stories about this mummy’s life in NYC. Here’s one of my faves.
